Lyal recently decided to work on a Drupal plugin for Robot Replay, and the results are here:
Now, if we can get TypePad, Moveable Type and Community Server support, I think that would cover a lot more of what people use for sites. Thanks to Lyal for getting that done.
This is probably common knowledge to people who do nothing but eat, sleep or dream Drupal, however this may be handy for those people who want to use Robot Replay and don’t know a lot about Drupal.
I still think it’d be better if it was in a module, but this should do the trick.
Occasionally, I will do some maintenance work on the blogs around here. Add some plugins, clean up some templates, and make sure everything is working. However, after looking at the plugins in WordPress, I decided to write my own plugin. The plugin that I wrote is 3 lines long, and is based on Hello Dolly! However, it is far more useful.
It’s the long-awaited Robot Replay WordPress Plugin! You can get the new plugin here!
What it does:
Is it really the simplest plugin?
Yes! It really is! It’s three lines of php.
It was faster to get this written than it was to get a stats package to load on this site. That’s why I wrote it! Also, editing themes is messy. The other advantage of making it a plugin is so that if we add API features to RobotReplay, we have somewhere to put the code to handle this in WordPress. It’d be neat to do this with other blog software and other CMS software, like Drupal.
